Peloton Review After 100 Miles

Not quite photo material covered here is it? There’s video if that counts.

Okay elephant in the room: the Peloton is not mine, I didn’t buy it, but it is available for me to use everyday here with the family. So I am more of a user and less of an owner.

The Peloton bike is an amazing piece of equipment right up front. I only have a couple of complaints with it and they are both software related issues so we will save those for later. The physical quality and functionality of the Peloton is as near perfect as a piece of exercise equipment can be. Well made, good looking, and above all it is simple.

I will try not to get into too much that I cover in the video review, but a simple recap would be that it is fun, wildly pricey, and effective in making me want to come back everyday. The trainers are what is getting me through this pandemic at home. My largest gripe with the Peloton is the software. Within a user profile there is no customizability for presentation of personal statistics or even a custom timescale to present the statistics on a scale that isn’t a 30 day interval. Stats like distance ridden or calories burned have to all be manually added up month to month because there is no option to see lifetime or all-time stats.
